Release the tension

Cupping Therapy.

Cupping uses gentle suction to lift and decompress tight tissue — easing stubborn muscle tension and bringing fresh blood flow to sore, knotted areas. At Two Palms in Bradenton, it’s a relaxing complement to your chiropractic care.

Let your muscles finally let go.

Where a massage presses down, cupping gently lifts up. Soft cups create light suction that decompresses the skin, fascia, and muscle underneath — loosening tight, knotted tissue and drawing fresh, oxygen-rich blood to areas that have been stiff or sore.

Dr. Moore may leave the cups in place or glide them along the muscle (with a little oil) to work through tension in the back, neck, shoulders, and hips. Most people find it deeply relaxing.

About those marks: the circular spots cupping can leave aren’t bruises from injury — they’re simply blood drawn toward the surface, and they typically fade within a few days. We’ll always talk you through what to expect first.

Honest take: cupping is a helpful complement for muscle tension and recovery — not a stand-alone cure. It works best paired with adjustments and movement, as part of your plan.

How we practice

We’re not trying to keep you here forever.

Dr. Moore’s goal is simple: find the problem, build a plan, get you feeling well and active — then clear you to go live your life. You’re the one who feels the difference, so we check in on how you’re responding and adjust the plan around what you tell us.
A plan with an endpoint
We treat what needs treating, get you better, then clear you. You’re here as long as you need to be — and not a day longer.
Wellness on your terms
Feeling great? Go enjoy it. Occasional check-ins — monthly, or every few months — are welcome if they help you stay feeling good. Never required.
Not improving? We dig deeper
We don’t repeat the same treatment without progress. If you’re not responding, we refer out — for imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) or to the right specialist — to find out why.

Cupping FAQ

Good questions.

Does cupping hurt?
No — most people find it relaxing. You’ll feel a pulling or tightening sensation as the cup lifts the tissue, not pain.
Why does cupping leave round marks?
Those circles are simply blood drawn toward the surface by the suction — not bruises from injury. They’re painless and usually fade within a few days.
What is cupping good for?
It’s great for tight, knotted muscles, back and shoulder tension, and post-activity soreness — including pickleball and golf recovery. It complements your chiropractic care.
How often should I get cupping?
It depends on your goals — some come occasionally for tension, others as part of an active recovery routine. Dr. Moore will suggest what fits you.
Is cupping safe?
For most people, yes. Dr. Moore reviews your history first and tailors the suction and placement to you.
