We talk — really talk

Your story, your history, what hurts, and what you want to get back to. This is the part most offices skip. We don’t.

A careful evaluation

Dr. Moore examines how you move and what’s going on before recommending anything. If chiropractic isn’t the right fit, she’ll say so and point you in the right direction.

A plan in plain language

What she found, what she recommends, and how long it should take — a plan with an endpoint, explained without jargon. Treatment starts only when you’re comfortable.

Give yourself a few minutes

Arriving a little early keeps your first visit relaxed — it runs about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Parking is free in our private lot, and Suite 103 is on the ground floor with wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and restroom.

Wear comfortable clothes

Anything you can move in works well. You stay fully clothed for your evaluation and care.

Bring your insurance card and a photo ID and we’ll help verify your coverage. Details on the insurance page.

Good questions.

Do I need a referral?

No. Start with our new-patient form or call (941) 220-6993 — we’ll verify your insurance and call you to schedule. (VA Community Care patients do need a referral from the VA.)

Will I be treated on the first visit?

Evaluation always comes first. If treatment fits and you’re comfortable, care often begins the same day — but never before you understand the plan.

How long are visits?

Your first visit, exam plus treatment, runs about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Follow-up visits are generally about 30 minutes. You’ll see Dr. Christy Moore, our only provider, every time.

Do you take walk-ins or offer telehealth?

We don’t take walk-ins, but same-day visits are possible when the calendar has openings — call (941) 220-6993. All visits are in person; we don’t offer telehealth. Care is provided in English.

Do you take X-rays?

Not in the office. If imaging is needed, Dr. Moore refers you out.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give us as much notice as you can as a courtesy. There’s no cancellation fee. Current patients can move or cancel online any time.

I don’t love the “cracking” thing. Do I have options?

Yes. Dr. Moore is Activator Proficiency Rated — a precise, low-force instrument technique with no twisting or popping. Care is always adapted to your comfort.

Do you see kids and moms-to-be?

Very much so — Dr. Moore is Webster-certified in prenatal (Webster) care and provides gentle, featherlight pediatric care. Whole families are welcome, and there’s no minimum age. Patients under 18 come with a parent or guardian, or we need a signed consent to treat from one.

What if I’m not a good fit for chiropractic?

Then you’ll hear that honestly. If your situation needs imaging or a different specialist, Dr. Moore refers out — finding the right answer matters more than keeping the appointment.
